Youth Consultation:

Addressing Inequalities in the Post-2015 Development Agenda

1.      What inequalities do young people face in their day-to-day lives?
(Think about challenges you have seen, or challenges you have experienced yourself, including where they occurred and who they affected.)

From its inception 15 years ago, A Better Community For All (ABC4All) and now ABC4All Mentors in 119 countries are sorely aware of inequities where any of us look right in our own local communities.  The lack of common sense in the world is everywhere.  We can focus on the gripping images that point desperately to what changes are needed in our world, OR, we can move forward with a model for the World of A Better Community For All that offers change requiring only support from every corner of the globe.  The world already has what it needs to provide basic needs and respect for human rights for everyone alive, so that human dignity and rights can be afforded to every person.  Thus we have created the concept of “Dual Global Citizens (DGC)” regardless of where anyone lives.  We all live on the planet.

2.      Why do these inequalities exist, and are there different causes for inequalities in different societies?

Reasons abound for all the inequities that confront us daily.  Above and beyond such discrimination, human beings are bombarded all the time by contaminants that attack human bodies, whether we are aware of this or not.  Thus it is not only inequalities that betray human kindness.  Once one leaves infancy and starts to head toward childhood, teen years, young adulthood, adulthood, middle-age, senior citizen status, what is known as “oxidative stress” sets in, and increasingly, we no longer have the ability to fend off the stresses and bombardment caused by the degradation of the planet.  So apart from all the actual divides that separate us in the world, the decreasing ability to deal with common stressors in our environment combine to cause decreases in ability to sustain one’s health maintenance.  This all belies the true nature of people who are born into the world:  They are given the gift of life, they live out a life span, they reach the end of their lifespan and they leave this world.  This sequence true of anyone alive is justification for the creation of the many movements towards Oneness and Unity in the world, including the ABC4All CELEBRATION OF ONENESS Movement.

3.      What action can we take to challenge these inequalities, and what kinds of actions have the most long-term impact
(Think about the different levels at which we can address them from grassroots work you have seen in local communities to changes in national and global policy. You can also give examples from your own projects or experience. Try to give evidence for why you think these are the most effective actions.)

A Better Community For All (ABC4All) has created an alternative to allowing the above scenario to ensue unchecked.  The Legacy of ABC4All has been put in place so that anyone who participates will create a their own legacy for their loved ones and descendants.  Through becoming self-funded, there will be no need to look to others for financial support.  Included are programs for Global Humanitarian Relief (GHR) for anyone alive who is receptive with advanced technologies for water, food and shelter and others assisting with the creation of sustainable communities anywhere in the world.   More information is available at Global Humanitarian Relief Day (GHRD) where Every Day is GHRD!

4.      What suggestions should be put forward to ensure that a post-2015 development agenda has a lasting impact on challenging inequalities faced by children and young people?

Recently we launched The Legacy of ABC4All and Ravi Karkara, Expert Advisor Children & Youth, allowed us to do a “soft launch” of The World We Want 2015

After working for 15 years as ABC4All Founder, it has become obvious that it is possible that people can engage with one another in a mode of cooperation and collaboration that has led to demonstrating what is possible in the world.  If you are reading this, it is because of all that has come before.  If this is possible, then, so too, is it possible that the

ABC4All Team of TEAMS can spread its beneficial NETWORK across the World:

Network of GoodWill and Welfare Emotions:
Network of CARING
Network of SHARING
Network of COOPERATION
Network of COLLABORATION
Network of HEALING
Network of PEACE
Network of HARMONY
"THE NETWORK THAT WORKS"

The ABC4All Network4All!™

What is the result?  UNITY! Yes, the ABC4All CELEBRATION OF ONENESS Movement is upon us with thousands of such efforts globally, revolutions and protests taking place in many countries.  The ABC4All YOUNGSTERS’ REVOLUTION is only one example, but can be all encompassing since ABC4All is a generic approach to the world.   Now The World We Want 2015 with the “soft launch” being done at the ABC4All Jamboree on 12/12/12 at the request of Ravi Karkara, Expert Advisor Children & Youth from the UN working closely with Ntiokam Divine, Local ABC4All / Cameroon Co-Founder:

It appears that in order for ABC4All to be able to develop as it has, it must be that Serendipity has made its mark.  No one could ever plan the sequence of developments that have taken place over the past 15 years; they happened because we are out there doing our thing, and it is possible for them to happen.

Our history is that we talk to 100 or even sometimes 1000 people, and 1 Angel emerges who volunteers with ABC4ll.  After 15 years, quite a group of self-collecting Angels have gathered and can, with sufficient cooperation achieved, work together to create better communities so far in 119 countries.  What is being manifested is that “The World of A Better Community For All (ABC4All)” has taken hold and has expanded on a global basis, cutting across all the existing divides:  political, religious, economic, class, caste, language, and yes, even warring factions, separately, have been relating to the concepts and the Principles of ABC4All.

Anyone can read the principles and make up their own mind.  No matter what the reaction, we know that CULTURAL UNITY IS POSSIBLE.

Here is a Power Point Presentation followed by additional information:

POWER POINT PRESENTATION: The Legacy of ABC4All

Working to create a legacy, a future for this infant – or any newborn – where the child can be offered a world where love, caring, safety, security, peace exist, protected with basic human rights.  A newborn has the right to have, and requires the ability to live out, a life in which there will be surrounding cultural unity in the local community anywhere in the world occupied by local Dual Global Citizens (DGC) who work together to help make it…A Better Community For All (ABC4All).

5.      a. What actions can other stakeholders (i.e. different groups and individuals with an interest in the post 2015 agenda) take to challenge the inequalities faced by children and young people?

The World of A Better Community For All (ABC4All) is a generic way of approaching any local community anywhere in the world.  Once a person addresses the basic question, “What would help make your personal community better for all?” that sets in motion potential action that does not depend on the availability of funding.  “What a Mentor Can Do” ABC4All – as a search term in any search engine – brings up endless examples of what ABC4All Mentors have done over the last 15 years without a dime of funding.

Author Bryant McGill’s book, “Voice of Reason,” has been reviewed in full, with his concepts alternated with examples of implementation from ABC4All.  Now his book is being shared as a companion for ALL ABC4All Mentors in 119 countries.  Additionally he is presenting his book to world leaders as his work commands more and more attention in the world.  Thus there is, in place, the means to approach what it is that will improve ANY issue in the world – inequalities, all the many divides in the world and the lack of common sense which needs to prevail no matter what the particular culture, persuasion, political leaning, religious orientation, role in society, etc.  What is possible is what has been repeatedly demonstrated:

ABC4All Statement

A Better Community for All (ABC4All) is a group of dedicated volunteers working at great self-sacrifice without funding from any source with intention to harness the power of the Internet to create sustainable opportunities that will lead to Self-FUNding4All.

Through this means any Local ABC4All Effort that is created in the world can bring resources together to create improvements in local communities.

ABC4All has been exposed to technologies that can, with appropriate support from every corner of the globe, lead to improvement in basic needs, including better water and better agricultural practices. These advanced technologies are shared, in part, at ABC4All World Solutions

The unique and innovative opportunities being made available represent precedent-setting cooperation and collaboration among individuals, groups, nonprofits, NGOs, CEOs/companies throughout the world that utilize existing capabilities via a distribution method, "Global Relief Distribution," in which there is no corporation that hoards money and gives little or nothing to charities.

Instead, there will be co-venturing with any/all nonprofits/NGOs in the world who want to cooperate with the derived wealth from the creation of the distribution of the advanced technologies shared across all the cooperating NGOs/nonprofits of the world.

b. How can we involve the children and young people affected by inequality to participate in taking action once the new development agenda has been established?

ABC4All officially works via the ABC4All Global Mentoring TEAM Project

http://projects.tigweb.org/abc4allglobalteam

Taking IT Global is a youth-driven site with the typical age range 13-30.  Younger children can participate with parental permission.  Older people participate as well.  From 1/2006 to the present 1071 ABC4All Mentors have signed up from 119 countries.  The model is there and can be duplicated anywhere in the world, and with the support offered from any participating corner of the world to help create a better community for all then it is possible to do the following:

While full implementation of ABC4All's capabilities may have to be realized over time during the coming months/years, the facts are here.  Examples of what ABC4All, a totally volunteer organization that has never had any funding whatsoever, can do given the right support and cooperation:

* end the drinking of polluted water in the world with permanently matched/doubled donations

* come to the aid of the "voiceless" with ways to assist towards providing basics in living and means to achieve self-development and independence in living.

* put into place a professionally designed set of websites that will maximize the benefits of organized info so that ABC4All will relatively quickly into the future take on the same capabilities of well-funded humanitarian sites with which we are all familiar

* be able to assist as "first responder"

* share better agricultural practices yielding healthier food

* assist with the achieving highest health height possible relative to local conditions

* create sustainable communities with an offer for an invitation to any country in the world to conduct an Economic Exhibition in Los Angeles, California USA following the example of the First Ivory Coast Economic Exhibition held in Los Angeles in July 2012.
